A huge shoutout to Irontech and Reallady for sending over the Viki head sculpt and their latest AI Box for us to review. We spent the last week testing this setup at the SDQ studio, and we are excited to share our findings with the community.

The app connection and operation are simple. Getting Viki online does not require a complicated setup process.
For both tech enthusiasts and first-time users, the system is easy to understand. This matters because an AI feature should feel accessible, not like a technical project.
Areas for Improvement
Response Latency
Viki’s logic and emotional responses are strong, but we did notice some delay during more complex conversations.
When we asked long or multi-layered questions, she sometimes needed extra time to process the context before responding. This does not ruin the experience, but it can slightly reduce the feeling of a natural back-and-forth conversation.
A faster response speed in future firmware updates would make the interaction feel smoother and more lifelike.
Low-Balance Notifications
During testing, we ran into one user experience issue.
At one point, the system suddenly stopped responding. At first, we thought it was a Wi-Fi issue or a technical problem. After troubleshooting, we realized the prepaid conversation minutes had run out.
The app would benefit from a clear low-balance alert or active reminder. A simple notification would help users understand what happened right away.
We have shared this feedback with the Irontech and Reallady teams, and we expect future app updates to improve this part of the experience.
Complex Multi-Turn Dialogue
The AI performs well in direct interaction, emotional responses, and short roleplay-style conversations.
There is still room to improve its ability to follow long, complex storytelling across many turns. In longer conversations, it may occasionally lose part of the original thread or respond in a more general way.
This is common for many AI systems, but improving this area would make the experience stronger for users who enjoy deep roleplay or extended character interaction.
Script Expansion
The current personas are already well-defined. For future updates, we would like to see a broader library of hobbies, cultural references, daily-life details, and long-term conversation themes.
This would help keep the experience fresh after weeks or months of use.
